Internal Jugular/Subclavian Venous Access In Electrophysiology Study And Ablation
نویسندگان
چکیده
Multiple venous accesses are required for catheter placement during electrophysiology study and ablation. Internal jugular/subclavian venous access, though restricted nowadays, can be important in difficult situations.

The Impact of Intraluminal Vancomycin Adminstration on Prevention of Hemodialysis CatheterRelated Infections
Introduction: Percutaneously inserted double-lumen central venous hemodialysis catheters provide the nephrologist with an excellent temporary access for an immediate hemodialysis treatment and preserve the peripheral veins for the future creation of a permanent arteriovenous vascular access. Unfortunately catheterrelated infections are usually common. In this study, the impact of intra luminal ...
متن کاملRadiofrequency Ablation Of Typical Atrial Flutter Via Right Subclavian/jugular Vein Access In A Patient With Implanted Filter In The Inferior Vena Cava
Radiofrequency ablation of Cavotricuspid Isthmus-dependent Atrial Flutter (CTI AFL), a usual and safe therapeutic procedure in interventional electrophysiology with a high success rate, aiming to induce permanent block of conduction over CTI, is normally performed via the femoral access, which allows practical access to the CTI through the inferior vena cava (IVC). In rare cases of obstruction ...
متن کاملAblation of Post Transplant Atrial Flutter and Pseudo-fibrillation Using Magnetic Navigation via a Superior Approach
Ablation of cavotricuspid ishtmus flutter and atrial tachycardia in a complex substrate has never been reported using remote navigation via superior approach. Venous access was obtained via right internal jugular for ablation and left subclavian for duodecapolar catheter placement into the coronary sinus. In a posttransplant patient presenting with both regular and irregular tachycardia, both c...

متن کاملMethods of central vascular access for haemodialysis.
The basic form of renal replacement therapy is haemodialysis. The duration and efficacy of this treatment depends on well-functioning vascular access. Short-term or long-term catheters are used if the arterial-venous fistula placement is not possible or not indicated. According to the recommendations of the NKF DOQI (National Kidney Foundation Disease Outcomes Quality Initiative), the first cho...
